Training of International Chinese Language Teachers
Skills-based Training Model
Our courses are designed according to practical need of teaching Chinese as a second language, covering theoretical courses, such as second language acquisition, foundation of TCSL linguistics, cross-cultural communication theory and practical courses, such as teaching method of phonetics, lexis, syntax and pragmatics based on comparison of Chinese and other language and language acquisition theory. Our training is interactive, case-based and participatory, and enables trainees to become qualified teachers of TCSL in a short term.
Scientific Training Model
Aimed at learners from different countries, races, ages and occupations, we sum up a set of effective teaching methods and skills, and have created a unique and practice-oriented training model.
We have established an education system throughout the country. Professors from CLRA give classes to trainees in key universities across the country. Local trainees can be directly taught by famous scholars on TCSL mainly from Beijing. So far, the training has begun in dozens of colleges and universities, such as Nanjing University, Beijing Language and Cultural University, Shenzhen University, Qingdao University, etc., and CLRA has become the most authoritative national educational institution.
